$25/hour + $150 weekly standby pay December 1–March 31
Report to: Jerseyville, ON — between Ancaster and Brantford
Work sites: Hamilton and surrounding areas
Season: November 15–April 15

Pay & Schedule
- $25/hour for hours worked, paid weekly.
- $150 weekly standby pay from December 1–March 31 for employees who meet on-call availability requirements.
- Seasonal employment from November 15–April 15.
- Opportunity for landscape employment following the winter season.
This is an on-call, weather-dependent position. You must be available to respond to snow and ice events at any time, including overnight, early mornings, weekends and holidays. Working hours vary with weather conditions and are not guaranteed.
What You’ll Do
- Clear snow from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, driveways and stairs.
- Use shovels, snow blowers and sidewalk equipment, including the Ventrac SSV.
- Apply salt and other de-icing materials.
- Work safely and efficiently alongside your crew to meet site standards.
- Report to our Jerseyville yard before each snow event.
What You’ll Bring
- Reliable transportation to our Jerseyville yard, including during overnight shifts and winter weather.
- Dependability, punctuality and a commitment to responding when called.
- Availability for on-call work throughout the winter season.
- Ability to safely shovel snow, lift 20 kg salt bags and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work safely as part of a team.

Compensation
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
